Bon Macaron is the latest venture from award-winning pastry chef Josh Ambridge, the creative talent behind Choux Bun Appétit in Sandersons Department Store. Opened in mid-2024, this elegant macaron stand sits directly opposite Sandersons in the heart of the Five Valleys Food Market.

Josh Ambridge


Award-nominated pastry chef Josh Ambridge brings a decade of fine patisserie experience to Bon Macaron. A finalist in Young National Chef of the Year, Josh is known for combining classic French technique with playful, modern flavours. From luxury hotels to founding Choux Bun Appétit and now Bon Macaron, his passion is creating memorable moments—one handcrafted macaron at a time.
